At Business Website Leader, we run all of our websites on WordPress. Today, WordPress 5.8 is out, and we are excited. This release comes in with some great new features:

  1. New blocks for Gutenberg like the Query Loop block.
  2. Dropped support for IE11. If you are currently using IE11, it is strongly recommended that you switch to a more modern browser.
  3. Added support for WebP. WebP images are blazing fast and are 30% smaller on average than their JPEG or PNG equivalents.
